AL ANDALUS

With Morrocan and Israeli roots, Laura  regularly performs in Hebrew, Arabic and Ladino. Her current work focuses on reclaiming the cultural heritage of Jews from Arab lands from a feminist perspective.  Laura is also part of the  New York Andalus Ensemble & ASEFA.  Credits include Museo del Barrio, DROM, La Nacional, JCC DC, JCC Manhattan, The American Sephardi Federation, Let My People Sing, the World Music Institute and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Upcoming & Past Concerts

Recent appearances include the JFREJ Mazals 2020, Rise Up! Fortification for Mobilization, Truah's Leil Election, The Mizrahi Collective launching retreat, Feminism All Night, LMPS 2020, The Aftselakhis Spectacle Purim Spiel.  Laura is a recipient of a 2020 Rise Up! grant, a 2021 Brooklyn Arts Fund Grant and a fellow at NJCF.
